Ramel "Rock" Lloyd

Ramel Lloyd's love for basketball is contagious. Ramel is a proven leader, mentor, and coach to talented athletes across the globe at the highest levels.

Professionally, Mr. Lloyd participated in basketball leagues in various countries, including the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, France, Philippines, Portugal, Columbia, and China as a professional player. In addition, Mr. Lloyd's playing experience encompassed the National Basketball Developmental League (NBDL), American Basketball Association (ABA), Memphis Grizzlies and Charlotte Hornets training camps, and Golden State Warriors Summer League team, as well as the Harlem Globetrotter's touring squad.

Collegiality, awards included 3-time All-Big West player, Big West Conference-leading scorer, and 2 - time preseason Player of the Year and 4th all-time leading scorer in history at Long Beach State University.

Ramel, as a high school player, was awarded the Parade Magazine 3^rd team All American, McDonald's All - American nominee, 1st team All New York State, ABCD Camp leading scorer, Member of Magic Johnson and Kentucky Derby All American Teams.

In coaching, Ramel's excellence in recruitment, development, evaluation, and support of Division I basketball players is widely recognized in the State of California by Parents & Athletic Directors. He has implemented group and individual basketball skills training, goal setting, preparation, visualization, and motivation to get his players to the next level. Ramel has coached teams that have won major basketball tournaments throughout the nation. Mr. Lloyd recently was assistant varsity coach for the nationally-ranked Sierra Canyon HS Boys Basketball Program, winning the California Open Division State Championship

Mr. Lloyd, combining his skills and experience in basketball, resulted in success in the business world as Orange County Buzz-American Basketball Association Assistant General Manager and BEAST Basketball Non-Profit Organization Founder and CEO. Ramel founded and developed a nonprofit program aimed at developing and supporting the growth of basketball players at every level

Currently, Ramel is the founder & director of recruitment for ConNEXTions, LLC in Los Angeles, a global company driving force support system for athletes on their journey to the next level. ConNEXTions implements a clear path to success for each athlete by implementing proven successful strategies. To ensure each athlete's growth, Mr. Lloyd has assembled a dynamic team of professionals in all phases of an athlete's development.

Ramel has three children, Bianca, Taylor & Ramel Jr, and is married to Taba, a very successful events planner in the Los Angeles area.
