Early Life and Education
Born and raised in the heart of Cleveland, Ohio, Mike Ross developed a fierce loyalty to his hometown and its sports teams. His enthusiasm for sports dovetailed with his academic pursuits, leading him to Kent State University. There, he not only completed a degree in Mathematics but also demonstrated his athletic prowess by playing basketball and baseball at the collegiate level—a precursor to his future dual career in sports and business.
A Record of Achievement
Ross's leadership skills came to the fore as he entered the business world. His company, reflecting his dedication to service and design excellence, has swept the Houzz National Design & Service Awards 13 times. Under his stewardship, the company was etched into the national landscape as a "Top 500 Company" 8 times over and has appeared and featured on TV show Million Dollar Listing.
In the athletic arena, Mike wielded his coaching acumen to lead his teams to staggering heights: 3 National Titles, 7 State Championships, and a whopping 64 Tournament Championships. His mentorship has ushered over 60 players to the next level of their sports careers.
Championing Future Generations
With a clear vision for supporting young talent, Ross founded the ConNEXTions Foundation, a 501c3 organization dedicated to mentoring student-athletes. This global non-profit harnesses Mike's vast experience to provide holistic preparation for collegiate athletics and beyond. Sports have always been a gateway to personal growth, resilience and achievement. For aspiring male or female athletes, the dream of participating in collegiate athletics and reaching even greater heights is within reach. That's where ConNEXTions Foundation steps in. This dynamic non-profit organization was created with one mission in mind - to provide comprehensive support and resources to under-represented, underprivileged and/or asset restricted athletes. Student-Athletes with potential to participate in collegiate athletics and beyond who are ready to take their skills to the next level! Led by Mr. Ross, the foundation provides:

......The goal for each student/athlete mentored by Mike Ross and the ConNEXTion's staff is to receive a college degree and accumulate enough wealth during High School & College to purchase a house upon graduation – thus changing the family dynamic for future generations!
Diverse Roles in Sports Management
Mr. Ross was recently unanimously voted in as a LA Sports Council Board Member. The Purpose of the LA Sports Council is to create positive IMPACT in the Los Angeles region by utilizing the INCLUSIVE power of LA SPORTS ecosystem though year-round INNOVATIVE strategies and programs.
Beyond coaching, Mike extended his expertise into the front office as General Manager for the Ohio Basketball Aviators, where he fused his love for sports with sharp business skills. In this role, Ross tackled team assembly, managed salaries, and nurtured player development, with the ultimate goal of propelling athletes to the NBA.
Currently, Mr.Ross is on the Athletic Board and the University Board of Trustees @ Pepperdine University. Mr. Ross' role is to assist The athletic teams with bringing in national talent as well as to assist the Pepperdine Collective launching.
Servant Leadership
A life of service defines Mike's roles beyond corporate and athletic leadership. As a Member of LA5 Rotary Board of Trustees ... motto Mike tries to live his life by:

- Ross contributes his expertise to humanitarian projects, including efforts to eradicate cervical cancer in women worldwide and provide clean water systems in Africa to remote tribal communities. In addition, Mike is a member of the Athletes Touch National Networking Group formed for previous college & professional athletes.

Mike's impact on sports and business caught the attention of high-profile platforms, leading to his participation in Lebron James's Top Class Docu-Series and collaboration with Olympian Allyson Felix in launching Saysh, her new shoe line. Personal Life
Mike attributes his success to the foundational values instilled by his parents, Norm and Gloria: accountability, loyalty, honesty, and hard work. These principles guide his ambition to excel locally, nationally, and globally.
Above all, Mike cherishes being a father to his three daughters, Christine, Laura, and Jami, and a partner to his wife, Barbara, a talented screenwriter. His family life remains the core of his immense achievements.

His construction company has been awarded the prestigious Houzz National Design & Service Awards 13 times for excellence in residential construction. In addition, behind his leadership, the company has been nominated by Qualified Remodeling Magazine nationally as a “Top 500 Company" 8 times. Athletically, Ross’ coached teams have won 3 National Titles, 7 State Championships & 64 Tournament Championships over the years.
Mike Ross is also owner of ConNEXTions, a global company - a driving force support system for athletes and their families on the journey to the next level. To ensure each athletes growth, Ross has assembled a team of professional experts to guide young athletes in reaching their potential. The highest level trainers for skills, endorsements, financial management, medical, psychological, nutritional, financial, weight training, college entrance and pro level administrators, under his guidance.
Mike's coaching experience encompasses high school, college & semi-pro levels. Mike Ross coached teams feature over 40 players who have moved on to the the next level. Ross earned his degree in Mathematics at Kent State University where he played Basketball & Baseball.
Mr. Ross, born in Cleveland, Ohio remains a loyal sports supporter of all Cleveland sports teams. Most memorable moment is the 2016 NBA World Championship led by Lebron James. Mike also had the privilege to coach against high school senior, Lebron James at the sold out Akron Civic Center Arena where his daughter, Jami, sang the national anthem.
Ross' front office experience combines his love of business & sports. Mike has served as General Manager for the the Pro Basketball, Ohio Aviators, where his responsibilities included assembling rosters, salaries, budgets, growth & development to assist players in reaching the NBA.
Ross is a gifted motivational speaker and a member of various organizations in Los Angeles - most notably LA5 Rotary International, whose motto is to “serve community above oneself."
The most influential people in Mike's life have been his Parents - Norm & Gloria & John Wooden
Currently, Ross volunteers his talents to the Sierra Canyon High School Nationally Ranked Boys Basketball Program. Mr. Ross also is honored to assist Olympian Allyson Felix with launching her new shoe line, Saysh, and her quest to become a successful female entrepreneur.

Mike is the proud father of 3 daughters - Christine, Laura & Jami and shares his life with his wife Barbara, a talented screenwriter, whom he attributes a key to his successes by keeping him in the moment.
