Rico Grier

National Skill Development- Basketball

Rico Grier is the Founding Partner of XOVR Group. He works directly with elite athletes and their families to architect long-term career strategy, structure commercial partnerships, and build enterprise-level infrastructure designed to protect and scale athlete brands. Since concluding his professional playing career in 2012, Rico has spent more than a decade guiding athletes from middle school through college and into the NBA. He has actively managed and protected the career and business trajectory of Rob Dillingham since middle school — overseeing recruiting strategy, NIL positioning, brand alignment, and professional transition while safeguarding long-term leverage and market control. Rico currently manages Dillingham’s partnerships with Nike and Fanatics and has executed commercial partnerships with Overtime Elite and Urban Skin Rx, a skincare brand that later sold for more than $30 million. In parallel with commercial execution, Rico has contributed to the institutional development of elite athletic programs, including structuring Donda Academy’s national competition schedule, securing revenue streams that supported the program’s infrastructure, and verifying academic alignment with NCAA certification standards to ensure athlete eligibility. He also works with athletes and their families to establish and operationalize family office structures — building integrated ecosystems where legal, financial, marketing, and advisory partners operate in coordination while the athlete and family retain strategic control. Rico’s approach is disciplined, structural, and long-term. He does not manage moments — he engineers careers.
